History

Pilates Certification Online was founded by The Pilates Studio® of Los Angeles, a Performing Arts Physical Therapy (PAPT) division established in 1992 by Dr. Melinda Bryan and Kaz®, the architect behind PCO.

The Pilates Certification courses offered by The Pilates Studio and PCO were developed in collaboration with Romana Kryzanowska, known for her work in preserving Joseph Pilates' teachings. Dr. Melinda Bryan, doctor of physical therapy and principal Pilates master teacher trainer, is among Romana's most recognized master teacher trainers.
